...I messed up my settings few days back now it won't seed.
The default settings in uTorrent would be enough for general users and by if torrent downloading is working, seeding would be fine unless someone messed up the uTorrent's Bandwidth
settings or restrict seeding by the scheduler. In that case, I think the best solution would be rollback to default settings. If anyone wants that he can visit here
, copy the numbers from the settings screenshot and replace them in their respected field (shown in screenshot) of the user's uTorrent settings. And to continue seeding a torrent even after meeting the seeding goal, select Force Start
from right-click menu.
As far as I can tell, a client's (eg uTorrent) settings depends on user's net connection, max up/down speed provided by ISP and it would be hard (for a user specially like me) to provide a standard settings for a client because not only our original up/down speed can differ by users, we also have different inter-country up/down speed (ie BDIX). That's why I think the default settings would be best to use as standard. But if someone still want to go advance in client's speed optimization, I would suggest to him to know about the settings (what they mean, how they work) by goggling about them and then set the client's settings by thyself. There are numerous guide about uTorrent's optimization in the net. To go to the one I started with, click here
